An arcade football game, based on the license of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association. In FIFA Heroes, we play 5v5 football matches with simplified controls and tweaked physics. The game allows us to control real football players, as well as football mascots and celebrities from movies and TV shows.
After EA Sports and the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) parted ways in 2022, the latter began engaging in various collaborations. The result of one of them is the game FIFA Heroes described here. We are dealing with an arcade football game developed by the New York studio Enver.
The core gameplay of FIFA Heroes is participating in football matches based on 5v5 rules. Unlike the series developed by EA Sports, the game does not strive for realism. Instead, it offers "tweaked" physics and special moves on the football field, as well as a wide range of players known from real stadiums and beyond.
In addition to licensed football players, the game allows us to take control of official FIFA mascots (such as Maple from Canada, Zayu from Mexico, and Clutch from the United States), as well as fictional characters known from TV screens and cinemas. Each of them is equipped with unique super abilities and special moves.
FIFA Heroes can be played solo or in multiplayer mode over the internet. There is a singleplayer career mode, in which we can gradually develop our club, play quick matches, and engage in special arcade challenges.
