FIFA International Soccer is the prototype of one of the best series of sports games ever released on a PC. The Electronic Arts subdivision, called EA Sports, has hit the tastes of players and has been celebrating triumphs for almost ten years. Despite the fact that this title is much different from what we can see today on a computer screen, already in 1994 it was an absolutely revolutionary football simulator.
Unlike other companies that produce this type of tape program, EA Sports gave up the traditional view from above and applied an isometric projection to his child. Thanks to an innovative solution, controlling players can be quite difficult at first, but after a few trial games, you get used to it. In addition to the cursors, we will also use two other keys: one responsible for passing and selecting a player, the other for shooting towards the goal. Of course, the repertoire of possible performances does not end there. Depending on the situation, players automatically perform more spectacular actions, such as derailleur shots or headstrokes. The program offers several variants of the game, e.g. World Cup, friendly match or traditional league. The teams, described by means of several parameters present a different style, which eliminates situations in which Azerbaijan easily defeats Brazil. If a clean copane is not enough for you and you would like to change the position of your players on the pitch, nothing stands in the way. FIFA International Soccer has a huge number of options in which everyone can be manipulated, from the tactics of fighting to the deployment of further formations on the green pitch.
Although in 2004 the first FIFA will celebrate its tenth birthday, it still defends bravely, which in itself should be enough for a recommendation. The only drawback of the game are the names of the players. It seems that the FIFA license was purchased, and the players are characters from a completely different fairy tale. This is especially true for Poles, whose names look as if they were given to our eastern neighbours. I assume that in other, more exotic teams it's the same, but in fact it's just a small detail....
