Four Sided Fantasy Description
Four Sided Fantasy for PC, XONE and etc. is an unusual logic game that focuses on puzzle solving, which requires changing of the perspective. The player is brought to an amazing world in the shoes of a young boy who is capable of manipulating the environment and solving the encountered puzzles. The game was developed by Ludo Land, known mainly for The Forth Wall.
Story
In Four Sided Fantasy for PC, XONE and etc., the world where the story is set is an ordinary place at the first glance. The protagonist finds himself in the land full of trees, fields and picturesque landscapes. But getting out of there is not an easy task - many places are simply inaccessible. However, the protagonist realizes that the reality he explores is just a creation of his own imagination. Thus, the laws of physics do not apply here.
Gameplay
The entire gameplay was based on this idea, so the player can freely manipulate the environment (turning it aside for example). The player can also perform jumps between certain areas by crossing the edge of the screen. This results in the protagonist appearing on the other side of the location. In doing so, the player can travel in any direction, finding new paths that were previously imperceptible. In practice, all the in-game puzzles have to be solved using this gameplay mechanism.
Technical aspects
Apart from the unique system of movement, Four Sided Fantasy for PC, XONE and etc. offers incredibly original 2D visuals that feature a set of abstract creations and a slightly faded color palette. These make the player sink into the specific atmosphere of the game very quickly. This effect is enhanced with a slightly psychedelic soundtrack that contributes to the atmosphere of a disturbing dream.
