Fred3ric is a musical game in which we play the role of the famous Polish composer, Frederic Chopin. The game is the third part of the cycle initiated in 2012 by Frederic: The Resurrection of Music. The authors of the previous two parts (as well as the horror adventure Hollow), a Forever Entertainment studio, are responsible for the development and release of this title.
The hero of Fred3ric is the famous composer Frederic Chopin, who returns from the dead to fight evil using his music. This time, he encounters the sinister cybernetic creature Zeitgeist, whose plan is to throw the musician into the vortex of time and thus deprive him of everything that has ever been valuable to him.
In terms of mechanics, Fred3ric is quite a classical music game - it's similar to what we know from the Guitar Hero cycle. The player's task is to react to a series of notes that appear on the screen and press the appropriate keys on the virtual piano keyboard. Our sense of rhythm is crucial here. If we choose the right sounds, the melody is clean and sounds right, and when we make mistakes, we play out of tune.
The game offers several different levels - each of them is a musical duel with a particular person (most often a different resurrected composer, who was taken over by the main antagonist of the game). It is worth noting that the player can adjust the difficulty level of production to his skills.
In Fred3ric, we can only play alone.
Fred3ric has original, two-dimensional graphics. The visual side of the game is based on two-dimensional, animated illustrations that bring to mind associations with an animated film or comic book. Especially good impression is made here by interesting projects of characters - both the jero and other composers who stand in his way. The backgrounds are also pretty good.
