An episodic adventure game with music game features, developed by Among Giants. Distortions tells the story of a woman who wakes up in a hospital bed in an unknown location after an accident. She notices that the time had stopped and all objects become alive only if she touches them. While traveling through the surrealistic realm with a giant, chained creature on the horizon, the protagonist is trying to discover how she got to this weird place and how to get back to the real world. The action is shown from a third-person perspective, but the game also contains 2D sequences. During the adventure the player faces logical challenges as well as arcade ones in which a magic violin is of key importance – the item enables the player to shape reality surrounding the character. Using the instrument was implemented in a way similar to classic music games like Guitar Hero and it requires pressing specific keys to the rhythm of the melodies coming from the speakers.

The developers responsible for Superbeat: Xonic are known for DJMax, a popular music game series, and have changed the studio name to Nurijoy in 2014. The gameplay in Superbeat: Xonic is based on pressing in the right moment the discs that move on the screen. Depending on the discs’ colors, we either hold or move some of them in the chosen direction. The creators introduced several difficulty levels, a point system which counts our combinations, and numerous bonuses rewarding player's speed or ability. We can choose from a number of gameplay modes and different songs. Superbeat: Xonic offers over fifty songs composed by Korean performers. Among them, we can find typical pop hits, as well as broadly defined electronic music, or rock. Superbeat: Xonic is full of colored lightning effects, highlighting the disco-electronic design of the game.

A turn-based RPG inspired by the works of one of the most famous heavy metal bands of all time: Iron Maiden. The Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast mobile game was developed by Roadhouse Interactive (the creators of Warhammer 40,000: Carnage) and 50cc Games. The title is distributed using the free-to-play model. In the game the player assumes the role of Eddie – the famous mascot of the band, well known from the covers of Iron Maiden albums. Eddie is traveling through a dangerous fantasy world and faces enemies from hell by using various melee weapons (including chains and a knuckle-duster) and magic superpowers. The battles are based on classic mechanics from turn-based RPGs – the attacks are performed alternately with the AI controlled opponents. As the protagonist gains experience, he unlocks new abilities and grows stronger. He also gathers allies who can fight alongside him. Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast offers three-dimensional graphics and during the game one can listen to Iron Maiden songs.
