Luto

Mechanics

In Luto we observe the action from first person perspective (FPP). We explore not only the house, in which our character is imprisoned, but also locations that are a projection of her mind (such as a shivering ravine or a cave filled with rock monoliths and... furniture from her house). Over time, the building itself is transformed, so that we can never be sure what lurks just around the corner.

And above all, it may be a creature that hunts us, looking like a humanoid covered with a sheet, which lives in the dark corners of the house and has a tendency to attack by surprise. What's more, the character suffers from depression and has to deal with various phobias, such as monophobia, claustrophobia, agoraphobia and nyctophobia, which has an impact on the gameplay.
