Gloomy Eyes: The Game is set in a gothic fantasy world. One night the sun didn't rise in the morning, and in the dark, the dead climbed out of their graves. Horrified humans declared war on the undead. In the middle of chaos, an unusual couple joins forces - a girl Neny, and a zombie boy Gloomy. Together, they must bring about the sunrise again.
Gloomy Eyes: The Game is an isometric game. The player traverses various, atmospheric dioramas, controlling both Neny and Gloomy. The protagonists have unique abilities they must use while solving puzzles. As the game progresses, we get to know them better, experiencing a touching story themed around love, loneliness and differences.
Gloomy Eyes: The Game features a dark, atmospheric, cartoonish artstyle. The soundtrack effectively builds up the game's gothic atmosphere.

Game Ratings for Gloomy Eyes Video Game.
Try Hard Guides: 9 / 10 by Erik Hodges
Gloomy Eyes feels like a playable Burton short film with enough challenge and heart to stand tall as a great little puzzle-adventure game. It’s not perfect; some puzzles drag, and navigation can sometimes get muddled, but the art style, storytelling, and atmosphere make it a standout experience that’s hard not to fall in love with, especially for anyone with a love of the weird, the charmingly creepy, and the delightfully dark.
PS4Blog.net: 8.5 / 10
Charming cozy horror experience inspired by the work of Tim Burton
The Punished Backlog: 6.5 / 10 by Zack Gulinello
Gloomy Eyes spoke to me with its melancholic tone and Tim Burton-inspired style, but a lack of depth holds it back from being a truly great indie title. I’m sure plenty of gamers will get a kick out of what the game brings to the table visually; just don’t expect anything groundbreaking in the minute-to-minute gameplay. For those looking for a laid-back, slow-paced puzzler, Gloomy Eyes may be worth a look. What’s here is serviceable, if not at times enjoyable. Sadly, however, there’s just not enough meat on the bone to leave a lasting impression.
