Mechanics

The basics of the gameplay in Guilty Gear are easy to master, even for those who have not played fighting games before. It is worth noting, however, that achieving the championship may take many months of hard work. Each of the many different characters has a wealth of movements and special attacks. Their execution often requires not only memorizing complex combinations of buttons but also reflex, because actions can be easily interrupted or countered by the opponent.
