Gundam Breaker 4

Gundam Breaker 4 is the fourth main (and fifth overall) installment in the Gundam Breaker series. This is a series of action games based on the license of the cult anime telling about the struggles of giant, titular mechs. The game was developed by the Crafts & Meister studio, while Bandai Namco Entertainment took care of its release.

Mechanics

In Gundam Breaker 4 we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). During the game we take control of the so-called Gunpla (short for Gundam Plastic Models). They are toy models of Gundams. The pillars of the game are missions, during which we face hordes of regular enemies and much more powerful bosses. Compared to the previous installments of the series, this game stands out due to the possibility of using two different weapons, which significantly expands the range of combos available on the battlefield.

Between skirmishes, we end up in the garage, where we can prepare for the next battles by assembling new parts and unlocking additional skills. The game offers a wide range of over 250 components that we can snatch from enemies and then install in our Gunpla. Additionally, we get the opportunity to modify the appearance of each of them through various paint variations, applying aging effects or various stickers.

Game modes

Gundam Breaker 4 allows to play alone or in cooperation mode via the Internet for up to 4 people. We can admire our Gunpla not only on the battlefield, because the game also offers a special mode in which we choose the background and special effects, and then set our model, thus creating various dioramas.
