Free-to-play multiplayer FPS based on the licence of the cult anime. In Gundam Evolution two teams of six players take control over powerful mechs and fight dynamic battles, completing assigned tasks.
Gundam Evolution is a multiplayer first-person shooter based on the license of the cult anime, launched in 1979. It was developed by Bandai Namco and is distributed in a free-to-play model with micropayments.
In Gundam Evolution we observe the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). During the game we take the role of pilots of the Gundams and participate in team battles. The game gives us a wide range of powerful mechs, which are differentiated in terms of appearance, mobility, resistance to damage, preferred armament and combat abilities. Among them we can find units designed for close combat, more universal Gundams equipped with big guns and shotguns, as well as specialized mechs, such as GM Sniper II wielding a sniper rifle or Guntank moving on caterpillars.
The gameplay is very dynamic, and skillful use of the Gundams' abilities is the key to success. The Gundams are equipped with a Thrust system, allowing you to rapidly cover large distances or perform quick dodges. In addition, after charging a special bar, we can use the effects of G-Maneuver, which are powerful skills, the skillful use of which can change the fate of many a battle.
Gundam Evolution offers only multiplayer mode, in which two teams of six players take part. Game modes such as Point Capture (where one team has to take over a designated point, and the other tries to prevent it), Domination (where teams fight for control over three objects), and Destruction (where one team attacks a designated place, and the other - defends it at all costs) are at our disposal.
Graphics of the game Gundam Evolution looks quite good. Above all, the designs of mechs can appeal, which are faithful to the originals known from the anime.
