Guns of Fury is a Metal Slug inspired shmup created by two Greeks from the independent studio Gelato Games. It's the next retro game after Goblin Sword combining mechanics known from metroidvanias with gameplay in the style of platform action games from the last decade of the 20th century.

Story

According to the vision presented in Guns of Fury, the near future world is plagued by an energy crisis. After the popular scientist Dr. Klaus announces the discovery of the Tetra Cell energy source, he vanishes, and his laboratory is destroyed as a result of a massive explosion. Suspicion falls on A. Easton, the president of Easton Industries.
