The third part of the simulation cycle with elements of economic strategy, developed by the German company UIG Entertainment. The player again has the opportunity to play the role of a truck driver and take care of the transport of bulky goods. The creators took care of a number of new elements such as route planning system, changing weather conditions or bridge crossings.

Heavyweight Transport Simulator 3 is the third installment in the series of truck driving simulators. The developers at UIG Entertainment enhanced the solutions known from the previous games and enriched them with new features.

The main mode – career – allows you to assume the role of a truck driver and a boss of a transportation company at the same time. Your responsibilities include the choosing of a commission, planning a safe route and being on time. The money earned can be invested in new truck and trailers.

In Heavyweight Transport Simulator 3, the developers put more emphasis on the environment and the roads. To plan a rout, the player has to take a number of factors into consideration, including the lengths and girth of the set, limited maneuvering options, as well as the bridges and other obstacles. New elements include new trucks and trailers and the system of varied weather.

The driving model used in Heavyweight Transport Simulator 3 is based on the simplified physics engine which, together with no system of damage, has nothing to do with realism. Also, the loading and unloading are not visible.

Compared to the previous games in the cycle, Heavyweight Transport Simulator 3 offers more detailed trucks and varied environments (forest, city, industrial zones). The quality of the 3D graphics still give away the low budget.
