A third-person action game with stealth elements, developed by Danish developer Io-Interactive. The protagonist of Hitman: Codename 47 is a mysterious assassin for hire, known only by as 47. After having escaped a research facility in Ukraine, he leaves the country and finds employment in a secret organization, called the Agency, that deals in contract killings of VIPs.

Hitman: Codename 47 is an action adventure game that combines elements of strategy and shooting. As a professional killer, you move around an incredibly detailed 3D environment. At the begining, it seems like you are simply performing missions given by the big underground bosses, but it quickly turns out that there is more to it and you are a part of a much bigger plot with genetic research in the background. As you progress in you adventure, you slowly uncover your past and discover that you are the next one to be killed.
