Hollow 2

Plot

The protagonist of the game is a well-known pilot named Mark. He must destroy Shakhter-One, a nightmarish mining station orbiting Jupiter, which has been captured by mutants and which is used to mine valuable resources from the atmosphere of this gas giant. Additionally, the hero's task is to find information that sheds new light on his own past, and to discover the connection between him and the events taking place on board the Shakhter-One.

Mechanics

In Hollow 2 the action is shown from the first person perspective (FPP). The authors remodeled the game, making it faster and more accessible than its predecessor. During the game, players walk through gloomy, claustrophobic corridors and station rooms, dealing primarily with the extermination of hordes of nightmarish enemies. In combat, one makes use of a wide range of futuristic firearms (but not only, because there are also various tools available). Nevertheless, getting into a fight is not always the best solution; the protagonist is sometimes forced to hide from the adversaries.

Technical aspects

Hollow 2 has decent-quality 3D visuals kept in a gloomy style known from the original.
