Hunting Simulator 2 is the second installment of the series launched in 2017. Like the first part of the series, the game was developed by Neopicastudio, and it was published by Nacon (formerly known as Bigben Interactive).
In Hunting Simulator 2, the action is shown from the first person perspective (FPP). We play the role of a hunter hunting on the great plains of the American state of Colorado and the Texas desert, as well as in the dense forests of Europe. Each of these loactions has an open structure that allows you to move freely and use different tactics.
More than thirty-three animal species are hunted here, which can only be found in their natural habitat. The animals behave in a realistic way, so their occurrence depends, among other things, on time of day or weather conditions. Besides, some species are difficult to track, so we often have to look carefully for traces left by them or use the help of a dog which is the most novelty to the original. Depending on whether we choose the company of a Labrador Retriever, a German Shorthaired Pointer Dog or a Beagle, our dog will be endowed with other useful skills.
As far as work tools are concerned, the authors have given us more than 160 elements of hunting equipment, which are based on products of real brands, such as Browning, Winchester, Bushnell, Kryptek or Verney-Carron. We are talking not only about firearms, but also about various accessories and gadgets, as well as clothing items.
Like the first part of the series, Hunting Simulator 2 is based on Unreal Engine 4 technology. While working on this production, the creators not only improved the quality of the graphic design, but also worked on an interface that has been redesigned. The graphic design is complemented by a realistic sound layer.
