I Will Escape PC

I Will Escape is a third-person action-adventure game for PC that focus on escaping a prison. It is the first part of I Will Escape trilogy developed by Dutch studio of Blue Label.

Plot

The main hero of I Will Escape is a Brian Lowfield, who wakes up in prison cell without a single memory of what happened during the last 24 years of his life. Not only he lost his memory, but he also has been put in prison and has been stripped of any sort of equipment. The only thing he finds is a photo of his girlfriend, whom he doesn’t remember, but her face seems familiar to him. Having no idea what’s going on, Brian must discover what happened in his life.

Game mechanics

Gameplay wise I Will Escape for PC is a typical stealth game, as our hero tries to get out of the prison without being noticed. Fighting is not an option as Lowfield doesn’t wield any weapon, meaning his only way of getting out is distracting guards and sneaking behind their backs. Cameras installed in cells and various safety systems don’t make this task any easier. To overcome those, the hero can jump, hold edges and manipulate items to construct cunning traps. There are many ways to succeed, but all of them require carefully crafted plan.

Technical aspects

I Will Escape is the first game designed with Blender open-source engine that allows fan-made modifications with some knowledge. However, due to its low quality of animations, developers decided to make use of motion-capture technology, which greatly enhances visuals.
