A cozy logic game. Our primary goal in Is This Seat Taken? is to fill the empty seats with various characters. We must pay close attention to their preferences and limitations, as well as remember about their mutual sympathies and animosities.
Poti Poti Studio is an independent Spanish-Belgian development team. It debuted on the industry map with the project Is This Seat Taken?, a cozy logic game, which involves filling free space with characters of various shapes and equally diverse needs and preferences.
In Is This Seat Taken? we watch the events from a bird's eye view.
The game consists of a series of puzzle levels, such as a bus deck, a wedding hall, or a restaurant. Our task is to arrange characters in free spaces in such a way as to fulfill their whims, meet their requirements and limitations, and take into account mutual sympathies and animosities.
It's not easy, because there are many things we need to pay attention to. A tired person should sit alone (or at least far away from someone who listens to music loudly), a person with a sensitive nose will not appreciate the company of someone whose perfume can be smelled from a mile away, and a person who likes to admire the views will not be satisfied with any other place than by the window.
The game does not impose any time pressure on us, so we can test various combinations until we succeed. When all the characters are satisfied with their places, we move on to the next board and the whole fun starts all over again.
Is This Seat Taken? tells the story of a character named Nat. Our protagonist is struggling with low self-esteem and wants to increase his confidence. He sees a chance to do this in a meeting with his idol - Luca. It's on us to make sure he can realize his dream.
The two-dimensional graphics of Is This Seat Taken? are maintained in a cartoonish style, using pastel colors and bold outlines.

In a lot of ways, you're acting as customer service or even some levels, as a wedding planner to find the right place for everyone and get seating arrangements just right. Seating people in such a way that they don't interact or interfere with others is paramount. You may be stumble into or seek a methodical solution, but no matter how you arrive at solving these puzzles, is a rewarding experience. The little bit of story you get is icing on the cake that compliments the wonderful gameplay for this distinct puzzler. Is This Seat Taken? as a puzzle game doesn't hinder or restrict the player, but instead provides frictionless entertainment for all ages to enjoy.

In cosy puzzler Is This Seat Taken?, you’re tasked with seating various humanoid shapes, according to their peculiar preferences. Some shapes want peace and quiet, others want to blast music, and a few — well, could really use a shower! The puzzle game has certainly tickled my fancy, with its adorable graphics and unique gameplay. I played the whole game in (almost) one sitting — I had to walk my dog in between — that’s how addictive it is.
