King of Retail 2 is a simulation game that allows us to become the titular king of retail trade. This is a sequel of King of Retail from 2022 (released three years earlier in early access). Its development is handled by the creators of the original, namely the independent Freaking Games studio from Denmark.

Gameplay

In King of Retail 2 we watch the events from a third-person perspective (TPP).

Retail empire

During the game, we take on the role of a store manager. Our task is to transform an initially modest object into a veritable commercial empire. It largely depends on us how we will accomplish this. The game allows us to focus both on the gradual expansion of a single store (we can decide on the layout of the rooms), and to create a whole network of them, which will dominate the local landscape.

Assortment and market trends

The same applies to what we are selling. We can focus only on one type of goods (such as essentials, clothing or electronics), or create a multi-sector store where everyone will find something for themselves.
