Supermarket Simulator is a simulation game that allows us to test ourselves as the owner of the supermarket store. The game was developed by the independent Turkish studio Nokta Games, whose portfolio includes a smaller mobile project - Toy of War.

Mechanics

In Supermarket Simulator we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). We start the game by designing the store from scratch. When deciding on the arrangement of shelves and the layout of goods, we must consider things related to both aesthetics and efficiency.

Once the designing is done we have to order the products that will be available in our store, and after receiving the delivery, place them on the shelves and in the refrigerators and freezers. When customers arrive, we must sit at the cash register and serve them, scanning their purchases and accepting payments (in cash, giving them their change, or using a card, operating the terminal).
