The program offers 256-color graphics in the VGA standard, pleasant soundtrack and classic point n click interface based on the icon system (walk, talk, inventory, etc).

The protagonist is prince Alexander, son of King Graham of Daventra. With the help of a magical mirror, he receives a message with a request for a visit from his beloved princess Cassima of the Land of Green Isles. The woman awaits her love bridegroom, but it turns out that his ship gets hit by a storm which results in a catastrophe. The heir to the throne of Daventra ends his journey on of the beaches of Isle of Crown, without his ship and his entourage. While traversing the unknown land, the hero visits many fantasy locations, meets a number of incredible characters and takes part in many events. The main goal is to rescue his beloved from a deceitful vizier.

The development team under the leadership of Roberta Williams and Jane Jensen used many mythological themes in their game, such as the labyrinth of Minotaur or the underground kingdom of Hades. Moreover, the authors implemented a large number of various logical puzzles and interesting dialogues.
