Kingz Online o Logicworks team produced a network game combining MMORPG and RTS genres. Each player takes on the role of a king and the game is divided into two planes. The development and management of the state is like an economic strategy, while the fulfilment of tasks resembles the typical positions of the RPGs.
Kingz Online is a fantasy-based MMO game that is a hybrid of RPG and RTS genres. This is the production of the Korean Logicworks studio.
Every player takes on the role of a king ruler of a small country that is part of a huge fantasy land. Playing the role of a monarch means having to manage your own domain. This mode is located in separate instances from the main world. In them we build a kingdom from scratch. Just like in typical economic strategies, we build houses, farms, craftsmen's workshops and finally castles as well. An extensive trading system is also available. At the same time, we gain full control over the lives of our subordinates. It is up to us whether we turn out to be a gracious ruler or a tyrant burning houses and murdering rebellious citizens.
In addition to private strategic instances, there is also a large open world shared by all players on the server. In it the fun resembles typical MMORPG productions. In this mode we direct the monarch, who sets out to look for adventures and treasures and hunts for monsters. Both aspects have been closely interlinked. For completing tasks and murdering bosses we are rewarded with items supporting the development of the kingdom. At the same time, a strong state strengthens the king's statistics, as well as providing him with access to additional skills and equipment. The fun is enriched by the war system, which allows you to invade and loot the kingdoms of other players. At the same time, domains are open to attack only when their rulers are logged on the server, so there is no fear that in our absence the country will be razed to the ground.
A system of cards, the use of which provides additional effects to facilitate gameplay, is compatible with all of this. They are divided into three categories. The first one includes cards to support the development of the kingdom, including increasing the rate of raw materials collection and improving buildings. The second type offers access to special skills in MMORPG mode. The third and last type are hero cards, allowing you to use the help of powerful heroes during strategic battles and sieges. Players can complete their own waistlines during adventures and by trading interchangeably with other users.
