Plot

In Klang 2 we once again take control over the main character. Pursued by the ghosts of the past, the protagonist was trapped in an unknown place. Of course, there is nothing left for him but to fight his way to freedom.

Mechanics

Klang 2 is a side-scroller. In contrast to the first part of the series, in which there was a place for platform game elements, here the gameplay is based solely on fighting with enemies.

Extremely dynamic fights take place in the rhythm of fast electronic music. During them we perform attacks, aiming at the icons appearing on the screen, as well as dodge from the strikes of enemies and quickly counterattack. Moreover, in addition to basic attacks we can also perform powerful special moves. Things are complicated by the fact that to perform each action we have a rather small time window. In addition, each fight is partially procedurally generated, so their course differs a bit at each approach.

There are 30 action-packed levels waiting to be completed, each of which can be tried at normal or high speed. In addition to the usual stages, six clashes with bosses await us, each of which introduces new rules to the game.

Technical aspects

Graphics of Klang 2 is in colorful, "neon" style known from the original. The gameplay takes place to the rhythm of the soundtrack, which was signed by such artists as bLiNd, James Landino, Arcien and Nhato.
