Lazaret is a horror adventure game. The game was developed by the independent English studio Aegon Games, whose portfolio includes such projects as Trave, Astray and The Door in the Basement.

Plot

The action of Lazaret takes place on board the MTS Endurance ship, which disappeared four years ago during a cruise across the Atlantic, and recently appeared out of nowhere, sending an SOS signal. A rescue team is sent to the ship, whose task is to investigate the matter. Upon arrival, almost all of its members disappear, and in their place mysterious, stone statues appear.

The last surviving member of the rescue team, which we play during the game, must solve the mystery of the ship, learn the fate of the crew and his friends, and, above all, fight for survival. The protagonist is not alone, and the danger in the form of dark forces and monstrous, humanoid creatures lurks around every corner.
