Big Distraction is an independent development studio, founded by tw?rc?who have previously worked on Fortnite and Rocket League, among other games. For their debut venture, the authors chose an action game with roguelite elements, which they titled LORT.
In LORT, we view events from a third-person perspective (TPP). The production allows us to take part in raids, in which we complete the tasks set before us, eliminate hosts of opponents, and collect loot, gradually developing characters. Before starting the game, we make a number of decisions, based on which the program selects the map, enemies and mission objectives.
During dynamic clashes we make use of an extensive arsenal including white weapons, bows, as well as firearms. The title allows you to juggle it freely, creating deadly combinations. In addition, during the game we collect various reinforcements, the effects of which can also be combined with each other. All this makes our combat potential grow as we progress.
In addition to serial enemies, who usually outnumber us, we have to deal with powerful bosses.
While it is true that LORT can be played as a single player, the title spreads its wings in cooperative mode over the Internet for up to 8 persons. When playing in the company of other players, it is necessary to support each other and pull each other out of trouble. There is a r?g at our disposal, the sound of which summons allies when things get too hot around us.
The graphic design of LORT is kept in a cartoonish low poly style (its various elements are based on a relatively small number of polygons).
