Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter, released on PC, PS2 and XBOX, is a dynamic shooter in which we observe the events from the first-person perspective. The game was developed by Warthog, the creators of Richard Burns Rally, Future Tactics: The Uprising, or Battlestar Galactica. In many ways, this title resembles such productions as Red Faction, Chaser or Command & Conquer: Renegade.
Our task is mass extermination of the opponents appearing on the screen, although there are also elements typical for other game genres.
The action takes place in the distant future, in 2412. Humanity has succeeded in colonizing most of the Solar System. Other breeds of creatures have also been encountered, including the Valleakan. We play as a man who in the past was a member of an elite troop of soldiers, established by large corporations managing the universe. However, the unit of the main character was betrayed and he was imprisoned. The game starts 10 years after these events. The main character is released from prison and wants to take revenge on those responsible for treason. At the same time, he becomes the titular bounty hunter.
Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter offers several levels. For the vast majority of the game time, our task is to eliminate encountered opponents. The main character uses many different types of weapons. We can choose between standard firearms and their more futuristic counterparts. In some places, we need to solve relatively simple puzzles, which should not pose any problem. Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter also contains elements typical of simple flight simulators. In some situations, there is an opportunity to pilot spacecraft.
The graphics in Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter are decent. Unfortunately, the game does not include any online modes.
