MacGyver Deadly Descent Description
MacGyver Deadly Descent, released on AND and iOS, is based on a license of a popular American TV series. The production was developed by FairPlay Media Limited.
Plot
The action of MacGyver Deadly Descent is set in secret, underground laboratories of the D.A.W.N. group. The scientists placed there were imprisoned by an exceptionally malicious computer virus, which infected the facility's systems. The oxygen supplies are getting lower with each passing minute - sooner or later, the scientists will suffocate. Their last chance is Angus MacGyver, an agent of Phoenix Foundation, who solves conflicts mainly with his knowledge and intelligence. Dedicated fans of the series should be pleased to know that the developers were assisted by Lee David Zlotoff, the creator of the TV series, thanks to which the production remains faithful to both the plot and the atmosphere of the original.
Mechanics
As befits a game about the adventures of MacGyver, overcoming challenges requires cunning, not dexterity. In MacGyver Deadly Descent, we explore extensive underground laboratories and solve numerous puzzles. We have to manipulate laser beams, disarm explosives and invent ways to outsmart alarm systems. There are six categories of puzzles in total, and within each of them, there is an extensive set of increasingly difficult challenges. The puzzles are designed so that we can go through them many times without feeling boredom because the initial parameters change each time we start them.
Technical aspects
All the puzzles in MacGyver Deadly Descent are shown in full 3D graphics and the story is told through comic panels.
