Mechanics

The gameplay resembles the previously mentioned Octodad: Dadliest Catch, for the controls are difficult and they lack precision. The player is required to perform all the existence-related tasks. Thus the protagonist mainly breathes in and out and moves the extremities in order to walk (each one controlled separately). The player goes to bathroom, makes eye blinks, dresses up, brushes their teeth, etc. It does not sound interesting at first, but in reality, the game is full of both hilarious and surprising situations.

Technical aspects

Manual Samuel for PC, PS4 and XONE is a two-dimensional game featuring cartoonish stylistics. The action takes place mainly in a house, so the player explores such interiors as a bathroom, a wardrobe or a living room.
