A sequel to the free MMORPG MapleStory created by Korean studio Nexon. The game has been developed along with its predecessor and is set in an earlier period, which resulted in many changes to the in-game world, both regarding the rebuilt locations and the appearance of enemies. The gameplay is based on that from the previous installment — it focuses mostly on exploring the fantasy world, completing various quests, developing your character, earning new equipment, and fighting your foes. Apart form the AI-controlled enemies, you can also fight other players in the PvP mode. The game differs from its predecessor mainly in terms of visuals — MapleStory 2 features 3D graphics and an isometric point of view.

A mobile edition of the Korean causal MMORPG series by Nexon. Like its PC predecessor, Pocket MapleStory utilizes a free-to-play model with optional microtransactions. The game is set in a fantasy world, where you can fight various monsters. You can choose from three characters with unique abilities. As the game progresses, they gather experience and learn new skills. Just like in most MMO games, you can found a guild, so that you can traverse the dungeons or complete special tasks together with other players. Apart from combat, the game features a crafting system, which allows you to create your own items, and expansive customization options, including many haircuts and outfits. The graphics of Pocket MapleStory resemble anime style, which is referenced in the visuals and the exaggerated special effects.
