In 1996, a film titled Mars Attacks! was released, telling the story of a Martian invasion of Earth. Years later, the developers from the independent Irish studio Outlier decided to use the universe created for this production and set their economic strategy in it.

Mars Attracts, as this game is called, allows us to create an amusement park on the Red Planet, where the main attraction is... people. Due to the fact that the original was a black comedy, the game is also filled with specific humor.

Gameplay

In Mars Attracts the action is viewed in an isometric view.

Martian amusement park

Despite the original theme addressed by the discussed title, its gameplay is based on well-known mechanics, reminiscent of the Jurassic World Evolution series. As the general directors of the Martian amusement park, we create diverse enclosures for people, and we also ensure that our Martian guests have the necessary infrastructure. All this is to ensure that the park starts generating the highest possible profits as soon as possible, which will enable its further development.

People as an attraction for guests

In order to have something to show to visitors, we need to use Martian technology to abduct people from various eras. This is not the end, as individual specimens differ from each other in terms of features such as shapes, sizes or elasticity. In addition, they were differentiated in terms of personality. We can observe them in their natural environment or subject them to various experiments.
