Mistfall Hunter

Mistfall Hunter is an online action RPG in which we fight for survival in a grim fantasy universe. The game was developed by the Bellring Games team and is their debut project.

Plot

Mistfall Hunter takes us to a world that has become a battlefield for the gods. The war ended with the fall of the gods, and their blood, transformed into a corrosive force called Gyldenmist, changed this land beyond recognition, turning its inhabitants into bloodthirsty creatures devoid of reason.

Not everything is lost, however, as a handful of resilient ones, known as Gylden Hunters, go into battle with the creatures of Gyldenmist. Their goal is to repair the damaged Network of Destiny and save their world from total annihilation. The mysterious girl named Dew, who can resurrect fallen warriors, is making sure they succeed.

Gameplay

In Mistfall Hunter we view the action from a third person perspective (TPP). The core of the gameplay are expeditions to locations controlled by Gyldenmist, during which we try to acquire the best equipment and as much of the so-called Gyldenblod as possible. For such a mission to end successfully, we need to find the portal (the path to which is indicated by the bell ringing in the distance) and cross it in one piece. If we fall on the battlefield, we will lose everything we have managed to gather.

It is easy to die here, as we are hunted by all kinds of AI creatures, as well as by characters controlled by other players (who have the same goals as us). Battles with enemies are dynamic, and during them the key to success is not only demonstrating agility and reflexes, but also careful observation of enemy movements in search of their weak points and gaps in their defense.

The game provides us with such character classes as Mercenary, Sorcerer, Blackarrow and Shadowstrix. They are differentiated in terms of preferred weaponry, combat skills, and fighting style. For example, while the Mercenary fights in close combat, the Sorcerer makes use of spells, while Blackarrow keeps enemies at a distance, shooting at them with a bow. As we progress, we develop characters, acquiring increasingly powerful weapons and special modifiers, as well as unlocking new skills and improving the ones we already have.

Co-op

Mistfall Hunter was designed with online multiplayer gameplay in mind. While there is nothing to stop us from playing alone, it is often a better idea to find a maximum of two allies and face the dangers together.
