Plot

In My Lovely Wife, the player plays the role of a man named Jake, who was given by the demon the ability to summon the succubus. One day he receives a letter from his late wife asking him to perform a ritual to bring her back to life. The hero decides to carry out the will of his beloved.

The course of the story and its ending depends on the player's decisions.

Mechanics

In My Lovely Wife, the player takes on the role of an alchemist who was given by the demon the ability to summon the succubus. It is by making sacrifices of this kind that a protagonist can create a vessel for his wife's soul.

Succubus are created using a combination of different types of resources available in the game. Each of these creatures is distinguished by different character and needs. In order for them to be used for the ritual, it is first necessary to build an appropriate relationship with them. For this purpose the creators decided to use the mechanics characteristic for the genre of dating simulators. So the player must, among other things, talk to them and give them various gifts. This enables the sympathy bar to be filled systematically.

To buy gifts for Succubus you need gold. Money can be earned in two ways - by sending succubus to work or by fulfilling special orders for city residents.
