NAIRI: The Tower of Shirin takes us to a fairytale world inhabited by people and intelligent animals. The player takes on the role of an aristocratic girl named Nairi. The heroine gets into trouble by messing up with the cat gang and discovering the conspiracy surrounding the mysterious Shirin Tower. Rex, a converted criminal who has become a scholar, and many other colorful characters help her get out of trouble. The whole story is kept in a humorous and fairy-tale tone.
NAIRI: Tower of Shirin is a classic visual novel in which plot is conveyed through dialogues enriched with 2D portraits of characters. However, the title has elements of a logical game and point-and-click adventures. Each location visited by Nairi is shown as a single illustration. Players can interact with elements of the environment by selecting them with the cursor. You can collect and combine found items and then use them at selected locations. There are also various kinds of puzzles.
NAIRI: Tower of Shirin has an intriguing graphic design, combining the style of typical fairy tale illustrations for children with cartoon drawings. The world's projects are inspired by Middle Eastern cultures. It is worth noting that all dialogues present in the game have no voice-overs, so while playing, we have to rely only on the text.

Game Ratings for NAIRI: Tower of Shirin Video Game.
GameSpace: 7 / 10 by Ed Orr
At its heart, Nairi: Tower of Shirin is a magical adventure. It contains quite serviceable puzzles and a solid set of character dialogue that should hold your attention for most of the narrative.
Cubed3: 7 / 10 by Renan Fontes
While the journey is more important than the destination, the fact NAIRI lacks a traditional conclusion - leaving many arcs and themes in a resolution limbo - hurts the narrative considerably. Considering just how much the story focuses on Nairi as a character, a cliff-hanger ending that places emphasis on plot comes off structurally inappropriate at best. That said, the script, atmosphere, and puzzles all warrant at least one playthrough. Tower of Shirin might fall much flatter than it needed to thanks to a poorly realised ending, but NAIRI, as a whole, is a charming point-and-click with plenty of heart.
GamingTrend: 80 / 100 by Amy Kay Purcell
Nairi: Tower of Shirin is a witty, cute, and quirky point-and-click adventure. Silly and slightly morbid, Nairi shines with unique characters, hand-drawn artwork, and challenging but fair puzzles. It is held back slightly by some confusing navigation, a few bugs, and the inability to save your progress, but this charming little gem is a must-play for fans of the genre.
