A racing game from the developers of iRacing, based on the license of the popular US series. NASCAR 25 combines realism with more casual gameplay aimed at console players. We can drive vehicles from four main series. There are also many real tracks and we can have fun in the career mode.
Shortly after the unsuccessful game NASCAR 21: Ignition hit the market, there were licensing reshuffles and the rights to transfer this famous American racing series were taken from 704Games studio (owned by Motorsport Games) and given to the creators of iRacing. They had already had years of fruitful cooperation with the organizers of these competitions, since the content related to NASCAR had long been an official part of their flagship project. After signing a new contract, they undertook to create a separate game, primarily aimed at console players.
NASCAR 25 combines realism with accessibility to provide entertainment for players using both controllers and steering wheels. The game includes vehicles from four racing series: ARCA Menards Series, Craftsman Truck Series, Xfinity Series, and the flagship NASCAR Cup Series, taking into account real teams and drivers participating in the 2025 season.
The competition takes place on many real race tracks, which have been laser scanned. The creators emphasized immersion, limiting menu screens and interface elements in favor of showing everything through the eyes of the driver. During races, they also highlighted the role of so-called spotters who provide the most important information to the players via radio (like current position or rivals approaching from the side).
The hallmark of the game is an extensive career mode, in which we start as a rookie competing in the "lowest" ARCA Menards series, aiming to climb higher over the next seasons, striving to dominate the NASCAR Cup Series. Along the way, we expand our racing team, sign contracts with sponsors, tinker with cars, and move to increasingly impressive headquarters (starting from our own home garage).
Apart from the career, we can also play quick races alone against artificial intelligence, as well as compete with other players through the online multiplayer mode.
The game was created using Unreal Engine technology.
