NCAA Football 2008 is another part of the series from Electronic Arts, which deals with American football. Unlike Madden NFL, which is based on the most famous league of this sport, NCAA focuses on university competitions. Every year, thousands of students in the USA try to make it to the best league in the world.

Game modes

The main mode of play is a career in which we can become a legend of university football. We start by creating our player - you can create him from scratch or become one of the existing players. Then, we go through the eliminations and play in the cup mode, where 16 teams representing different cities participate. We start with only a dozen or so fans but, as the successes continue, we gain more and more fans. After that, we sign contracts with better teams, the stakes get higher, and finally, we reach the very top of fame.

Another mode is Dynasty Mode - we play the role of a university team coach, whose task is to control their team and (above all) to find young talents and convince them to play in our team. Each player is different, has different skills and weaknesses, so you need to learn as much about him as possible for him to successfully integrate into the team.

Technical aspects

In NCAA Football 2008, players can use a lot of new moves, play on additional stadiums (now there are 115 of them - in the previous part there were 40) and the graphic design was improved once again. The game also includes a special motivation system - if the player does well, he will start playing better. Similarly, if he doesn't play for some time, he will need a few games to get his form back - then it's worth giving him a rest for a few matches.
