Nighthaw-X3000 is a dynamic shoot'em up game developed by the independent Polish studio N94 Games. We play as James Pilecki, an elite pilot whose job is to face the alien invaders who attacked Earth in the year 2000. Action in the game is presented from a top-down perspective. The plane we control automatically flies upwards. Our job is to maneuver in a way that will allow us to eliminate the aliens and avoid their fire.

Nighthaw-X3000 takes place in the year of 2000. We play as James Pilecki, and elite pilot who drowns his sorrows in alcohol after the passing of his wife. On one evening, as he was in bar drinking his favourite beer, the Earth is invaded by hostile alien forces. Pilecki has nothing else to do but, once again, fly his plane and face the attackers.
Gameplay in Nighthaw-X3000 for PC is presented from a top-down perspective. The plane we control automatically flies upwards. We have to maneouvre in a way to avoid being shot and at the same time fire back at our opponents. We will face both hordes of standard enemies and powerful bosses whose defeat will require us to use all of our reflexes. We will also have to approach those battles in a more tactical manner and have enough firepower. Due to the fact that Nighthaw-X3000 has a rather high difficulty level, swapping between the weapons is required to achieve victory.
Nighthaw-X3000 for PC can be played alone or by two players on split-screen. Coop includes the campaign and a whole range of other game modes.
Nighthaw-X3000 for PC has characteristic, 2D pixelart visuals. The game is overall colourful which, combinded with the synthwave soundtrack, brings to mind science fiction movies from the 1980’s.
