Niktophobia is a survival horror game designed for cooperative play. We fight for survival on a space station overrun by dangerous alien life forms, defending ourselves together with other players. The game was developed by the independent studio OldYacht.

Gameplay

In Niktophobia we view the action from a first-person (FPP) or third-person (TPP) perspective. Our primary task is to explore the space station in search of suspicious substances, collect samples and deliver them to a safe place as quickly as possible.

The execution of this task is complicated by the fact that we are constantly being pursued by creatures that have taken over the station's rooms and corridors. Artificial intelligence oversees their behavior, analyzing our actions and deciding on this basis whether we pose a threat to it or not. Given that we have limited means of defense, it's better not to provoke the AI and get out of its way or try to avoid the creatures it controls.
