No More Room in Hell 2 PC

No More Room in Hell 2 is the sequel to 2011's free-to-play co-op action game, which was born as a mod to the Half-Life 2 shooter and took inspiration from the movie Dawn of the Dead. The game develops the ideas introduced in the first part. It is worth noting that in contrast to the first one, No More Room in Hell 2 is a paid game. The game was developed and published by Lever Games studio.

Plot

No More Room in Hell 2 is set in the world known from the first part. It is inspired by George Romero's film Dawn of the Dead, a universe in which the Earth has been overrun by bloodthirsty undead due to the emergence of a dangerous disease called Kulon. NMRH2 begins a year after the collapse of civilisation - scientists were working on a vaccine at the time and governments were trying to bring the chaos under control, but ultimately neither effort was successful.

Mechanics

In No More Room in Hell 2 we observe the action from the protagonist's eyes ( FPP). The players' task is to go through the missions, which require fighting with the undead (we do it using a wide range of firearms and melee weapons) completing specific missions.

The world of No More Room in Hell 2 is full of dangers, so players must collect everything they can find useful (mainly ammunition or medical supplies). Survival is only possible if we cooperate and communicate with other players. In addition, any contact with zombies can result in death or infection of the character. That is why the creators have made it crucial to look for solutions other than fighting and to be creative during the battles.

One of the important changes in relation to the previous installment is a significant development of the map randomisation system - now not only tasks are randomised, but also various elements of the location, events, or items that we find. This is to provide a slightly different experience with each successive approach.

Game modes

In No More Room in Hell 2 we can only play with other players. The core of the gameplay is a online co-op mode created for up to eight players.

Technical aspects

The graphics of No More Room in Hell 2 have been significantly improved compared to the previous installment of the series. The character models and environment are much more detailed, and the lighting system looks incomparably better. As a result, the game manages to do much better in sustaining the atmosphere of horror.
