No More Room in Hell 2 Coming This Year

Co-op shooter No More Room in Hell 2, a sequel to the popular game originating from a mod for Half-Life 2, received a product card on Steam.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. No More Room in Hell 2 got its own profile on Steam;
  2. This year the game will launch in early access;
  3. We'll get an 8-person co-op mode and two extensive maps.

No More Room in Hell 2 appeared on Steam. The game is a sequel to the co-op shooter set in a zombie-infested world created and developed by Lever Games. The game should launch in Early Access this year (price is not known yet). The full version will be released after about 12 months. Some time ago, the developers also published a trailer, available below.

The title will offer an 8-person co-op mode. Together with friends we will try to survive on one of two different maps. The first one - Brooklyn Heights - is to draw inspiration from New York. The location, which will be called Night of the Living Dead, will be based on rural areas of Pennsylvania. It is a reference to George Romero's famous Night of the Living Dead.

More content will appear in the full version (including three more locations - Stockades Shopping Mall, National Guard Bureau and Liberty Island). It's worth noting that all maps are supposed to be partially random - we won't always get the opportunity to enter the same locations, and we'll often encounter differemt threats (e.g. traps with changing locations). Thanks to this, each playthrough should look a bit different.

The No More Room in Hell series was born in 2011 as a mod for Half-Life 2. The huge popularity of the project encouraged its authors to create an independent, free game, which appeared on Steam shortly afterwards.
