Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest: Adventure Game for AND and PC is an independent adventure game created by Pavel Kostin. The game is divided into five episodes, and additionally, a free demo version was released – it presents a short, but separate story.
The player assumes the role of Odysseus Kosmos – a space engineer working at one of the ships. Along with other astronauts, he went near the black hole in order to investigate a planet located there. Most of the crew went to the surface of the planet, where due to the phenomenon of time dilation, everything happens far slower than aboard the ship. As a result, the protagonist has remained aboard for many years, accompanied only by a robot named Barton Quest. The mission was being carried out in calm atmosphere, but one day the spacecraft began to behave strangely, creating a threat to the further course of the expedition.
Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest: Adventure Game for AND and PC is based on the principles of classic point-and-click adventure games. To maintain the ship and save the entire mission, above all, the player has to explore different rooms of the ship in search for different items they can use to achieve their goals. Those are not only obvious items, such as parts of machines – what can turn out to be crucial for success, is a rubber duck for instance. Apart from that, the game offers many more and less complex puzzles requiring the player to manipulate cubes, for example.
Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest: Adventure Game for AND and PC comes with 2D visuals conveyed using a pixel-art, cartoonish graphic style.
