In Omensight, a game present on the PC and PS4 platform, the players assume the role of the “Harbinger”, a formidable warrior that can control time itself. The protagonist has seen the end of the world of Urralia and that is why he is trying to stop this future from happening. To accomplish this task, he must identify key persons of interest. These include a powerful wizard, or an influential general that, thanks to his special powers, the protagonist can observe during their final moments in search of answers.
Omensight is a 3D action-adventure game that is focused around unraveling a complex storyline. Over the course of the game, the players can manipulate time in order to observe events from different perspectives, and also make decisions that influence the way the story develops. However, the game offers much more than just a complex plot. Omensight features a skill-based combat system that comes in handy when fighting against a couple of dozen enemy types and a few powerful bosses. The protagonist is not only skilled with a sword but also knows his way around magic.
The PC and PS4 release is running on Unreal Engine 4. Although the graphics are fully 3D, it’s unique and cartoon-like style makes the game look very clear and visually appealing, resembling an animated TV show.
