Pandemonium is a 3D platform game developed in cooperation between Crystal Dynamics and Toys for Bob.

Plot

In the game we play the role of one of the two heroes, who are responsible for summoning a terrible monster, threatening a certain fantastical land. To correct their mistake, the sorceress Nikki and jester Fargus decide to get rid of the troublesome creature once and for all.

Mechanics

Before starting the game, we decide which of the heroes we want to play as. The choice is not cosmetic, because the characters are very different from each other. Nikki is a better acrobat, which means that she can jump higher than her friend. Fargus, on the other hand, has an additional, very strong attack, which is useful for fighting enemies.

As befits a classic arcade game, in Pandemonium!, we jump on numerous platforms, collect bonuses, and eliminate numerous enemies. You can get rid of your opponents by jumping on their heads and using the spells that you activate by gaining the bonus of your choice. It is worth remembering that a character can use only one spell at a time. It is therefore up to the player to decide how they want to eliminate enemies.

Pandemonium is a production aimed at more experienced platformer enthusiasts. Every contact with the enemy results in the loss of one of just two points of energy. If the health drops to zero, the player loses a "life" and has to repeat the whole stage. Fortunately, the authors gave players codes thanks to which you don't have to go through the whole game every time from the very beginning.
