The hero of the game is a representative of a strange race of Pargas. These are magic creatures that can take many forms (large, small, with shell, without armor, flying, floating, etc.). The Parg race lives in four kingdoms. Each of them consists of hundreds of islands suspended in the space. The kingdoms are connected to each other by bridges built of magical stones called "Boogles".

"Parg" is a very simple arcade game created for younger players. We control the title creature, leading it through other lands. The player's primary task is to collect magical spheres appearing on Parga's path. The problem is that the already mentioned stone bridges are in poor technical condition. The player's task is to navigate the hero so that he does not fall from them. An additional difficulty is the unusual properties of some stones. They can, for example, speed up Parga or reverse his movements. The player has to deal with these problems on an ongoing basis. However, the difficulty level of the game is not too high.

The controlled hero from time to time falls into other creatures inhabiting the presented land. Some of them offer their help in reaching new locations. In order to be able to go to the next boards it is necessary to locate special "clocks" used as controllers of teleportation portals. What is more, these portals draw energy from the collected spheres, so it is necessary to have a sufficient number of them in the inventory so that the teleportation process runs properly. However, you have to hurry, because each of the available stages is limited by the time limit.

An additional attraction of Parga is the ability to fight against a living opponent. The screen is then divided into two parts (so called split-screen). The winner is the one who is the first to teleport from a given board. Interestingly, it is possible to push an opponent out of the route using one of the several available weapons. Graphics of the game, despite the use of a three-dimensional environment, is not too complicated. The player will visit seven worlds during his journey. They differ in the colours used.
