Particle Fleet: Emergence for PC is a strategy game developed by independent studio Knuckle Cracker. This team created the well received Creeper World III: Arc Eternal and this time it enables the player to take control over a space fleet.

Mechanics

What distinguishes Particle Fleet: Emergence from other real-time strategy games are the enemies. Here they have a form of a mass created of hundreds of particles flooding the screen. Their behavior is controlled by an advanced physical engine, which not only ensures that individual elements of the whole correctly surround the objects in the game environment, but also manages the behavior of the whole group when it is attacked. The key to success is to develop correct tactics and observe the activity of the uncommon adversaries – different species of the mass (Particulate, Emergent and Doppels) are vulnerable to different attack types.
