A tactical shooter created by the indie developer Downpour Interactive. The game was developed for VR multiplayer matches, where the players use VR goggles and dedicated motion controllers. In Onward, players fight on modern battlefields in different environments, under changing weather conditions, and with the addition of a day-night cycle.

A multiplayer-oriented TPP action game developed by United Front Games. The plot of SMASH+GRAB takes place in a grim future, in a world governed by powerful corporations; however, the game features a satirical, exaggerated vide. The players assume the role of gang members participating in an underground entertainment show, in which criminal groups clash to see which team will be the first to steal 50,000$ from the storefronts. Two five-man teams participate in the game.

A science fiction two-dimensional retro shooter by TransHuman Design. In BUTCHER, we assume the role of a cyborg who is programmed to kill humans on sight. The action is presented in a classical side view, and the gameplay is focused on traversing post-apocalyptic locations and eliminating encountered enemies. The protagonist fulfills this goal with several kinds of weapons, including, among several other things, a chainsaw that is a sort of a nod to the creators of Doom.

Cloud Pirates is an action MMO game created by the Russian studio Allods Team. The game takes place in the fantasy world of Sarnaut that suffered a mysterious cataclysm thousand years ago. In its result, the world was shattered into floating islands. To improve communication between them, and in order to search for treasures and ancient artifacts, special airships were constructed. In time, the adventurers operating those ships received a new name - cloud pirates. We play as one of them.

A collection of seven mini-games designed specifically for VR goggles. The player is taken to the titular funhouse, which is filled with different amusements. The game offers a shooting range (firearms and bows), challenges for fans of boxing (hitting objects with fists), or competitions based on fencing (the player's goal is to hit balloons filled with confetti). What's more, the game features a mode which requires the player to shoot clowns using pistols loaded with sticky, green liquid.

The last, fourth DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, released in November 2015. The expansion called Salvation is a part of the season pass, and similarly to the previous add-ons, it is available only for PC and 8th-generation consoles. As always, the expansion includes four new multiplayer maps: Citadel takes place in a medieval castle. Micro is a wacky map, featuring a picnic table, with the players taking control of miniaturized soldiers.

An action title with elements of classic arcade shooters and roguelike productions. Developed by Blindflug, the game is a continuation of Cloud Crashers. The action takes us to a dieselpunk world. The main protagonist, Amelia, lives in the flying city Granaria. To make a living, the girl catches fish dwelling high in the clouds, and she is aware of the social inequalities of this sky utopia.

An adventure action game that tells the story of a pilot of a spaceship. It is a debut game of the studio Vibrant Core and it was created for the virtual reality technology. The story of Space Rift – Episode 1 takes place in the future, where the humanity was forced to leave Earth and colonize Mars. The main protagonist of the game is one of the employees of a greedy corporation that controls the society. He is wrongly accused of treason.

An action war game developed by Atypical Games. The title has similar style to the mobile version of World of Tanks. During the game the player takes control of one of the tanks used in a futuristic conflict. The game can be played in single player and multiplayer modes. The gameplay mostly consists of traveling through locations and attacking everything that moves and isn’t part of the player’s team.

A continuation to the well-received game The Red Solstice, created by the Ironward studio. Contrary to the original game though, Solstice Chronicles is a typical twin-stick shooter inspired by games such as Alienation or Helldivers. The player's task is to eliminate hordes of enemies, obtaining new weapons and developing the character. The story revolves around a mysterious virus that turns humans into bloodthirsty mutants.

An old-school 2D shooter developed by Pixwerk in cooperation with 11 bit studios. The game is inspired by classic 16-bit hits, such as the Chaos Engine series. The action of Tower 57 takes place in a devastated dieselpunk world, where gigantic towers are the only places harboring what remains of human civilization. The story focuses on the adventures of a group of daredevils who attempt to infiltrate the titular Tower 57.

Nine Parchments is a cooperative action game developed by the creators of the Trine series. The game takes place in a fable fantasy land and tells the story of young adepts of magic. Instead of spending years on studying at the Astral Academy they decide to embark on a journey to find the titular nine parchments that, according to legends, grant their owners incredible power. The whole game is filled with dark humor.

A top-down shooter in a science-fiction setting. The action of Hybrid Wars takes place in 2060, when wars between giant corporations are a constant occurrence on Earth. The player steps into the shoes of a mercenary, fighting for one of the sides of the conflict. We spend most of our time in the cockpits of powerful mechs, tanks and helicopters, destroying all who stand in our way. The developers have prepared over 50 unique types of enemies and 7 powerful bosses.

A third-person perspective survival horror inspired by console productions of this genre. The action of From Beneath takes place in a town called Cedar Heights, which mysteriously turns into a living hell. The campaign tells a story of seven independent characters who have to fight for their survival. Mechanically, From Beneath is an action-adventure game with the camera hanging behind the character’s back. Each hero is different, but none of them was born a warrior.

A spin-off of the popular space MMORPG – EVE Online, created by the same studio: CCP Games. EVE: Gunjack is a title developed with virtual reality sets in mind. The game sees us man a powerful cannon, defending an oil platform against the enemies trying to destroy it. When it comes to mechanics, the game is a classic rail shooter – we are unable to control the movements of our character, the player can only look around.

A first-person shooter which casts the player in the role of a character sent to eternal damnation in hell. In the center, there is an arena where stigmatized souls fight hordes of demons and other devil spawn. The player eliminates subsequent waves of enemies, gains new weaponry and acquires new abilities during his fight for survival. The protagonist dies very often here, for the game is characterized by high difficulty level, thus the player is bound to start over numerous times.

A first-person perspective survival horror game developed by Hellbent Games. The action of Wick takes place in a forest which over the years has accumulated a number of unexplained child disappearances. The legend goes that if someone journeys into the forest with only a candle, he will be able to see them. The teenage protagonist taking part in a youth game lands in the forest with the task to survive from midnight to dawn.

An FPP shooter game for VR headgear. The plot of The Brookhaven Experiment focuses on the eponymous mysterious experiment, which resulted in the creation of a space time portal, letting through hordes of monsters. You play as a man who's trying to stop the ongoing apocalypse and close the portal. Apart from the VR headgear, the game also utilizes motion controllers, which are used to shoot and interact with the environment.

A science fiction first-person shooter developed by independent studio I-Illusions for virtual reality devices. Its story takes place in the distant future, with players’ task being to defend a space base from attacking droids. We can freely look around by turning our head, while aiming and moving is done through movement controllers. Enemies are eliminated with a few variants of laser guns.

A hybrid of an action and an RTS game created with multiplayer gameplay in mind. The plot follows an unending war between two factions: humans and beasts. The main focus of the game are clashes between two 16-player teams. Each of the armies has a commander, whose perspective differs from the rest of the team.

A first-person shooter that uses virtual reality technology. The game was designed by the creators of Cloudlands and A-10. Jeeboman takes place in a futuristic city that is attacked by an army of robots controlled from outer space by an alien civilization. The player is tasked with defending from the aggressors – both in the city and on the alien ship. When fighting the enemy, the player can use five different weapons, including a laser cannon, a shotgun and a rocket launcher.

A dynamic, side-scrolling shooter created by Pyramid studio. Planet Darius has been invaded by Belsers – an alien army that entrenched itself in the oceans and seas of the whole world. To combat the threat, the planet's inhabitants have prepared a new lethal weapon, the so called Burst System. The gameplay of DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours focuses on eliminating hordes of enemies – aside from normal cannon fodder, the enemy ranks are sometimes reinforced by tough bosses.

A humorous, three-dimensional rail shooter by Inti Creates studio and a sequel to 2011 Gal*Gun, a game designed for motion game controllers. We play as an ordinary Japanese high-school student named Hodai, whose life has turned upside-down after he is shot with an arrow by mischievous angel Kurona. This results in every female trying to hit on him in more than aggressive way, after as little as a single glance.
