A survival-themed action-adventure game developed by the British studio Mojo Bones. Impact Winter is set in 2018, when the Earth's atmosphere got polluted with a dense layer of dust, due to the planet's collision with a huge asteroid. Sunlight is now almost completely absent, and the player assumes the role of Jacob Solomon, who along with four other survivors has to sustain his existence under extreme conditions for 30 days - it is the amount of time the rescue team needs to reach the place.

Jack and his childhood friend Amelia are the main heroes. The story revolves around general Adler’s ominous plan to secure the Third Reich’s victory. The mechanics are purely arcade and missions are abundant in main and side objectives.

Nidhogg 2 is an action game developed by Mark “Messhof” Essen, the same person who created the series’ first installment that was released in 2014. The game uses the same gameplay mechanics as its predecessor. Once again we get a 2D action game where we take part in duels on vast, tiered levels similar to those from typical platform games. We can play against A.I. or other players through online or split-screen multiplayer.

A multiplayer action game featuring elements of stealth, created by SIM720 - a British developer. The game focuses on two teams of players competing against each another - one team consists of agents and the other of rogues. The mechanics were based loosely on the classic hide & seek game. Rouge Operatives is played in rounds, during which the job of the agents is to track and eliminate all the rogues; the latter, on the other hand, have to remain undetected until the end of the round.

The game takes us to 2032, where a conflict called the first galactic war forces humanity to defend its planet using an improvised fleet consisting of civilian space ships armed with various weaponry.

An arcade first-person rail shooter developed by GameMill Entertainment. The players move automatically through a 3D environment, searching for animals and hunting them. Big Buck Hunter Arcade allows us to assume the role of a hunter who visits 30 varied hunting locations with 20 different species of animals, from small rodents, through bats or ducks, and up to large game such as moose or bears. Our actions are monitored on the fly by a special system that awards points and special badges.

In Seraph the player takes control of the titular heroine – an angel kept in a high-security, futuristic prison owned by demons. While trying to escape, the protagonist with supernatural skills faces a variety of dangers and devilish creatures. The action is seen from a side-view and consists of fighting hordes of enemies.

The player arrives in a fantasy world which is facing the spectre of destruction. In order to ward off the danger, the princess performs a ritual that would summon a true hero from another dimension. However, something goes wrong, and the world is visited by a number of heroes who join the opposing, power-hungry parties.

A few generations later, the planet slowly returns to life, with humanity creating special anomaly zones that isolate dangerous mutated beings along with unlucky humans that inhabit the area.

The parameters and battle role of the individual ships is determined by the type of the ship (from a maneuverable frigate to a heavy battleship) and the chosen armament. Our ships can carry various weaponry, including rockets, lasers, or Gauss cannons.

The story of ROM: Extraction takes place in 2076, with the player taking control of a member of Orb Extraction Unit. Their objective is to guard aliens’ eggs while they are being escorted to Earth. Gameplay focuses on fast-paced battles against aliens, during which players must survive for several minutes and fend off incoming waves of enemies.

The plot of ICEY follows the titular heroine, led by the mysterious narrator, during her travels through a fictional, enemy-ridden world. When it comes to mechanics, the game is a classic fighting game, with a complex combo system and RPG elements.

Firstly, we will have to figure out what to do on the Earth's orbit. After that, we will have to face the dangers of entering the atmosphere. The last thing that awaits us is the emergency landing. In terms of mechanics, Homebound is an action-adventure game that tests our cleverness and reflexes.
