PISTA Motorsport is a game by REG Simulations - an Argentine studio which started off by developing mods to racing simulators, such as Assetto Corsa, before creating a full-fledged game of their own. The developers have also aimed to promote their own country, similarly to the Automobilista series, which was also initially focused on South American motorsport (though with a focus on Brazil).

PISTA Motorsport features Argentine racing series, such as Turismo Pista (where Fiat Uno participates), Formula 3 Metropolitana and Turismo de Carretera. The races take place on well-known local tracks, such as Autódromo Municipal Juan Manuel Fangio and Autódromo Roberto Mouras.
