A spin-off of the Postal series, featuring gameplay elements typical of arena survival titles. In Postal: Bullet Paradise, we assume the role of various Postal Dudes and explore areas overrun by psychos, mutants, and robots. We can play solo or in coop mode.
Despite the fact that the Postal series was created by the studio Running With Scissors overseeing it, certain titles under this brand have been developed by other development teams over the years. This includes the independent American company Goonswarm Games, which is behind the shooter described here, featuring arena survival gameplay and titled Postal: Bullet Paradise.
In Postal: Bullet Paradise, the action is viewed from a first-person perspective (FPP).
The game is a crossover and gives us access to Postal Dudes from all the installments of this series so far. The available characters were diversified in terms of appearance, statistics, and perks. We explore a dystopian universe called Shitty Future, where everyone and everything wants to kill us.
On our path, we encounter both psychos and mutants, as well as cultists and corporate thugs. To eliminate them, we use weapons such as pistols, rocket launchers, bombs, or even shovels. We craft and modify gear by making use of scrap lying around in various locations.
As we make progress, we unlock various upgrades that increase our chances of victory. Among them, we can find things like bonuses to health or damage dealt to bosses (which we face during breaks from eliminating hordes of regular enemies) or even... an option to urinate to keep opponents at a distance.
Postal: Bullet Paradise can be played solo or in online coop mode.
The graphics of Postal: Bullet Paradise combine three-dimensional elements in a retro style with pixel-filled sprites of opponents.
