PRIM is a two-dimensional point-and-click adventure game in which we control the daughter of Death. This is another indie game from the catalog of Application Systems Heidelberg, which supported Common Creations studio for the release of the Frankfurt-based international team's debut work.

Plot

The Grim Reaper in PRIM, like Death from Discworld, has a problem with his daughter. Prim dreams the same dream every night: a strangely familiar boy's voice calling for help. Despite her father's prohibition, the lonely and bored teenager goes to the land of the living. However, she soon learns that Death's fears were justified. Now the girl must control her immense power and, with the help of an eye on spider legs, discover the truth about herself.

Game mechanics

PRIM is a textbook example of a point-and-click adventure game. The game is about visiting successive locations, where we talk to NPCs and solve puzzles.

The game is varied by several playable characters and the ability to switch between the world of the living and the dead, as in Flipping Death by Zoink Games. The developers have also included a handful of mini-games (for example, card games), as well as hint and fast travel systems that make it easier to deal with PRIM challenges.

Technical aspects

PRIM features black-and-white two-dimensional graphics, which are inspired by the animated films directed by Tim Burton. The game also includes full English dubbing.
