Pro Cycling Manager 2024 is a management sports game dedicated to cycling. The game represents a cycle that was initiated and developed by the French team Cyanide Studio, which also has its sister Tour de France series in its portfolio.
In Pro Cycling Manager 2024 we play the role of a cycling team manager. Thanks to official licenses, real cyclists, teams, companies sponsoring athletes, and competitions appear in the game, led by the Tour de France race (2024 season).
The game allows us to set up our own team or choose one of the existing ones, and then start our career. During the game we are responsible for setting up training plans for our cyclists and indicating the competitions in which they will participate, setting tactics for each race, acquiring new equipment for athletes, as well as hiring members of the staff.
All of this requires money and its main source are the sponsors. This aspect of the gameplay has been significantly expanded compared to the previous installments of the series. Before signing a contract, it is worth to familiarize with its terms, starting with its duration, as well as the expectations of individual donors. By achieving the seasonal and long-term goals set before us, we gradually gain the trust of bigger sponsors.
The goals of the races themselves are diverse. While one sponsor may expect only the exposure of their advertising during the competition, another will require our team to win (at individual stages or entire races), and yet another may want to influence the composition of our team, for example by demanding to hire only representatives from their country. Most often, smaller sponsors set easier requirements for us, and the bigger partners we choose, the more difficult the tasks they set will be.
Pro Cycling Manager 2024 allows to play alone or in multiplayer mode over the Internet. In addition to the possibility of managing an entire cycling team, the game also implemented a Pro Cyclist mode, where we focus on the career of a single player.
