A multiplayer shooter by Wargaming, in which we control tanks. Project CW isn't reminiscent of just World of Tanks, but also hero shooters like Apex Legends and Overwatch.

Project CW is the code name of a multiplayer shooter, in which we'll get to control tanks from the Cold War era and beyond. It was developed by Wargaming, world-famous for World of Tanks. Although at first glance both games may seem similar, they differ quite a bit and are aimed at different target groups. The game is free-to-play, featuring microtransactions.
Mechanics
Project CW has us controlling tanks, taking part in online battles on large arenas. The gameplay mechanics resemble both popular FPSes (like Battlefield, Overwatch and Apex Legends), as well as MOBA games.
Our chosen agent (character class) and tank model affect the abilities we can use. Though we can try to play solo, we'll be better off acting as a team, playing a select role.
The entry threshold is lower than in World of Tanks. Vehicles' health regenerates during battle, and we can respawn after death. Nevertheless, players still need to get used to the controls and the inertia while firing their weapons. Tanks move slower and are less maneuverable than in WoT.
As we progress further, we unlock better tanks, upgrades and modifications for our machines and agents.
Game modes
Project CW only supports online multiplayer. We can both compete against others or work together against AI-controlled enemies. The game features a tutorial that introduces us to the mechanics, controls and combat. Between each battle we'll spend time in a special lobby.
